Story of the exhibit
Bus of the former Tamsalu state farm. After the state farm was wound up, the bus passed to the Einmanni Agricultural Cooperative, a branch of the Vajangu cooperative that started up in the same place. In collective farm times it was used for trips to song festivals; in the new era to carry market traders from the city. The bus last had a major overhaul at the Tartu plant in November 1989. Restoration began in spring 2009 and was finished in July of the same year. At various times Tarvo Puusepp, Eno Hermann, Tuve Kärner, Aivar Hermann, Peeter Juurik, Toomas Arukask, Meelis Mändla and Jorven Rang helped bring the bus back to life. The restored bus took part in the 110th anniversary celebrations of the Järva-Jaani fire brigade in 2009 and in the 2010 meeting of Estonian-built and home-built vehicles "Built in Estonia – 2010".
