Story of the exhibit

The truck belonged to the 2nd column of the vehicle fleet of Keila Motor Transport Base No. 14 and carried garage number 218. It came from Tartu on 14.12.1990 and was written off on 27.12.1999. The body is in its original colours and carries the lettering KONTEINERVEOD (container transport) on the sides. Among other things, route sheets were found in the cab listing the names of the shops around Keila where the truck delivered bread. In 2023–24 the truck was refurbished by Priaal Ltd for the Tartu European Capital of Culture exhibition and displayed at the Tartu City Museum.
