Story of the exhibit

Former bus of the Valga Meat Combine, bought second-hand from the Tartu Bus and Taxi Depot in the second half of the 1980s. The bus was used to transport the company's workers. To give passengers more room, one pair of seats was removed from each row. The bus is in good condition and running order. For the last 12 years it was driven and kept in very good condition by driver Kalju Sinisalu. The bus is completely complete: even the work coat and gloves are there! The owner's hand can be felt at every step: one cupboard, for example, holds a pile of spare V-belts, each numbered, and at the driver's seat there is a notebook recording which belt fits where!
