Restored during the 2nd Big Campaign, at the vintage machinery convoy
Story of the exhibit
A home-made light truck based on GAZ-67 and GAZ-AA units. This unusual vehicle was built by Hiiumaa craftsman Ülo Muda. Among the assemblies and units used, the GAZ-AA engine and the cargo body of an East German RS 09 tool-carrier tractor can be recognised. The vehicle, which had already changed owner once before, came to the donor in spring 2007. As the previous owner had no use for the truck on his farm, he finally decided to donate it to the Old Tech Park. In summer 2008 the vehicle was restored by Veljo Hecht and Vello Virks, who gave it its final look before the vintage machinery convoy at the end of August. The vehicle took part in the 20th vintage truck meeting in Pärnu-Jaagupi in 2009 and in the following vintage machinery events in Järva-Jaani: the harvest and vintage machinery convoy in 2008, the meeting of Estonian-built and home-built machinery in 2010 and the 21st vintage truck meeting in 2011.
