Story of the exhibit

A home-made tractor with a GAZ-AA/MM engine. Clearly the builder, having made it work, also took care to give it an attractive look. The result is so good that several people less familiar with tractors have taken it for a factory product from the photos. Besides the engine, other recognisable units and parts include the front grille and shortened bonnet of an MTZ-5, and the front and rear wheels, mudguards, fuel tank and driver's seat of an East German RS 09 tool-carrier tractor. The tractor has a hydraulic three-point linkage and a tow hook. In summer 2010, as part of the "Built in Estonia – 2010" campaign, Aalo Krahe restored the tractor.
