Production years: 1958–1969 (?) The DT-20 tractor belonged to the 0.6 t (6 kN) drawbar class and is a development of the DT-14. According to some sources the DT-20 was built from 1958 to 1969. Compared with the DT-14, engine power was increased – the four-stroke single-cylinder liquid-cooled D-20 diesel produces 18 hp/13 kW at 1600 rpm, with a maximum (short-term) power of 20 hp/15 kW at 1800 rpm. The engine is started directly on diesel fuel with an electric starter. The four-speed gearbox with a reverser gives five forward gears, one of them a creeper (at 900 rpm), and four reverse gears. Calculated speeds (forward and reverse): 1st gear 5.03 km/h, 2nd 6.52 km/h, 3rd 8.22 km/h and 4th 15.7 km/h. In the creeper gear the speed is 0.87 km/h. Drawbar pull: 1st gear 720 kg, 2nd 550 kg, 3rd 385 kg, 4th 125 kg and creeper gear 540 kg. The DT-20 has the following features: 1.) The tractor can be set to a ground clearance of 515 mm for inter-row cultivation of low crops and to 308 mm for work in orchards; 2.) Adjustable track width, 1100–1400 mm at the front and 1100–1500 mm at the rear, allows cultivation of crops with row spacings of 50, 60, 65, 70, 80 and 90 cm; 3.) Like the DT-14, the DT-20 can be set up to work in reverse. The DT-20 has a split hydraulic system, an independent PTO turning at 545 rpm, a belt pulley independent of the PTO, a hydraulically controlled removable automatic hitch and a canvas roof. The tractor has low-pressure tyres: 4.00-16 at the front and 8.00-32 at the rear. Overall dimensions: length 3038 mm, width 1300 mm (at a track width of 1100 mm), height 1231 mm when working in orchards and 1438 mm for inter-row cultivation. Operating weight is 1560 kg.
