Story of the exhibit
Former fire engine of the Linnamäe collective farm in Haapsalu district, received new by the farm in 1975. In the first half of the 1980s it was converted into a double-cab flatbed truck used by Meinhard Räli, head of one of the farm's branches. For a while it also had an LPG fuel system. In 1990 the farm gave the vehicle to its former user when he retired, and a year later the engine and cab were thoroughly repaired. After the owner's death the vehicle stood unused at Linnamäe for almost 15 years; a few years ago the cargo body was removed because its floor had rotted. The donation to the Järva-Jaani Old Tech Park was arranged by the former owner's grandson and Old Tech Park board member Mati Räli, who also restored the cab and appearance of the vehicle in 2008.
