Production years: 1961–1967 A tool-carrier tractor built at the Kharkiv self-propelled chassis plant, belonging to the 0.6 t (6 kN) drawbar class. The tractor is designed for all the main farm work, as well as transport and driving stationary equipment. Compared with its predecessor, the DVSSh-16, the following changes were made: the 5-speed gearbox was replaced with a 6-speed one, widening the speed range; the tractor was fitted with a split hydraulic system; and its weight was reduced by 200 kg. The tractor has a 2-cylinder air-cooled 4-stroke D-16 diesel engine with 16 hp, started with an electric starter. The gearbox has 6 forward gears and one reverse, plus an additional creeper forward gear. The PTO can be engaged either synchronously or independently; in independent mode it turns at 533 rpm. Forward speeds are 3.72–19.6 km/h, reverse 3.76 km/h and creeper 1.15 km/h. Read more about the T-16 here!
