Story of the exhibit
Former loader of the Rescue Board's Kose logistics centre, previously used by the Tallinn Separate Rescue Company. Considerably modified from the original (especially the controls).
About the model
A forklift with a 5-tonne lifting capacity. With its main "paws" it mainly loads palletised goods, but fitted with various other attachments (including a jib and a grab bucket for bulk materials) it can handle a wide range of goods.
The forklift has the engine of a GAZ-51A truck, and the gearbox comes from the same truck. The clutch comes from a GAZ-52 truck, and the drive axle and power-assisted steering from a ZiL-130.
