Story of the exhibit

A home-made tractor built from a GAZ-21 engine, a JerAZ gearbox and a GAZ-AA rear axle. Brought to the Old Tech Park from near Sürgavere, from relatives of its earlier owner. The earlier owner used it mainly to lift potatoes, combined with a slightly adapted horse-drawn potato digger; as far as is known, he built three tractors in total. Choosing between several purchase offers, the previous owner decided to hand the tractor over to the Järva-Jaani Old Tech Park. In 2014, preparing for the Convoy of Curious Vehicles held on 2 August that year, Vello Virks restored the tractor and modified it slightly. Among other things, he removed the horse-drawn potato digger and replaced it with a rear half-frame matching the tractor's overall style.
