A replacement car allocated from Moscow to the Paide District Cinema Network in place of a UAZ off-roader that had been sent to deal with the aftermath of the Chernobyl disaster in 1986.

Production years: 1979–1990
The LuAZ-969M went into production in 1979, replacing the previous model 969A. The front end was modernised and the engine replaced with a more powerful one – 1200 cm³, 34 hp.
