Story of the exhibit
Former camera crane of Tallinnfilm; the crane works by moving counterweights by hand. The vehicle has covered only 14,000 kilometres (it is probably an older lifting unit mounted on a new base vehicle in 1990).

The longer-wheelbase (3700 mm) chassis version of the GAZ-52 truck for mounting van bodies.

The decision to build the Gorky Automobile Plant near Nizhny Novgorod was taken by the Supreme Council of the National Economy on 4 March 1929; construction began on 2 May 1930, and in January 1932 production of the GAZ-A car and GAZ-AA truck began there, based on Ford-A and Ford-AA drawings.
