Story of the exhibit
The motorcycle was built by Sulev Jänes, who also rode it at the Jõgevatreff motorcycle event in 2010. It is powered by the V2 diesel engine of an RS tractor nicknamed "the German", mated to a Ural motorcycle gearbox. Many other parts from cars, motorcycles and even aircraft were used in building it, along with several unusual technical solutions – for example, leaf-spring suspension for the rear wheel. Negotiations with the current owner Taavi Reiss about depositing the motorcycle with the Old Tech Park began in June 2020. Before arriving, the machine was thoroughly serviced by its godparents Argo Ellisson and Laura Lest, and it reached the Old Tech Park on 16 August 2020 in full working order and clean. The machine can be seen in the Old Tech Park's exhibition hall.
