Story of the exhibit
It was used by the Swedish army and was presumably donated to the Estonian Defence Forces as humanitarian aid in the second half of the 1990s; it was stored at the Tapa base. Due to wear and the acquisition of newer equipment it became surplus.
About the model
A rotary snow blower for airfields, of which about 70–80 were built in the late 1970s to order for the Swedish army on the chassis of the Scania SBA111 four-wheel-drive military truck. The snow blower is driven by a separate Scania DS14 V8 diesel engine.
