A rally/cross car based on the GAZ-51. The donor Tiit Sepp acquired it a very long time ago as a parts donor for the GAZ-63 he was restoring.

The decision to build the Gorky Automobile Plant near Nizhny Novgorod was taken by the Supreme Council of the National Economy on 4 March 1929; construction began on 2 May 1930, and in January 1932 production of the GAZ-A car and GAZ-AA truck began there, based on Ford-A and Ford-AA drawings.
