V. A. Malyshev Kharkiv Transport Machinery Plant

The former Kharkiv steam locomotive works, which has built tanks since 1929. It has also built tractors, farm machinery and engines. It currently belongs to the Ukrainian state, and its product profile is similar to the above. At various times its products have included the T-34, T-54, T-55 and T-80 tanks. It has worked closely with the A. A. Morozov design bureau, which began in 1927 at the Kharkiv steam locomotive works. The bureau's designs include the BT, T-34, T-54 and T-55 tanks, the AT-T, "Komintern" and "Voroshilovets" military tracked prime movers and various special machines based on them.
