Ural Automobile and Engine Plant

Founded in 1967 in the closed town of Novouralsk (then Sverdlovsk-44) as a plant producing ZiL spare parts. Later production of the ZiL-157 was also moved there, where it remained until the model ended in 1991. The plant also built the ZiL-130 and -131; ZiL-130s from this plant could be recognised by their 131 cab.
