An unusual forest fire truck with a 900-litre water tank, pump and plough. (Unfortunately the pump and plough are missing.)
About the model
The GAZ-66 truck was converted specifically for forest fire-fighting at the Vargashi fire equipment plant (Варгашинский завод противопожарного оборудования). The designation АЦЛ comes from the Russian words for "tanker for forest fire protection" (автоцистерн для лесной пожарной охраны).

The decision to build the Gorky Automobile Plant near Nizhny Novgorod was taken by the Supreme Council of the National Economy on 4 March 1929; construction began on 2 May 1930, and in January 1932 production of the GAZ-A car and GAZ-AA truck began there, based on Ford-A and Ford-AA drawings.
