Story of the exhibit
This ЗАЗ-965, or "road bump", was made 20 cm wider during modifications. The windscreen and rear window come from an as yet unidentified Russian car. The axles, engine and gearbox come from a ЗАЗ-968. The bonnet and doors open the opposite way to a normal one. In the vehicle's technical passport the make is given as «Самодельный» (home-made) and the frame and body numbers as «б/н» (без номера – no number). See also the Muhu Club website.
