Автомобильный завод им. Ленинского Комсомола (АЗЛК)
The history of the Lenin Komsomol Automobile Plant begins in November 1930, when the State KIM (Communist Youth International) Car Assembly Plant in Moscow (Государственный автосборочный завод имени КИМ в Москве) began assembling Ford cars and trucks. After the war the plant was renamed the Moscow Small Car Plant (Московский завод малолитражных автомобилей (МЗМА)), production was rebuilt and manufacture of the "Москвич" (Moskvitch) small cars began.
